Re-Impact Tai-Delta
The classic Taipan paddle convinces by its high values for spin and control.
The special qualities of this blade are due to the absence of balsa in
its core, but 2 mm thick middle plies of balsa serve to achieve a
dampening effect and to keep the overall weight low. The multiple core
plies of extremely soft wood, allowing extremely long dwelling time and
high control. The design was derived from the idea for next generation
Tachi combination paddles. It enables players who used frictionless pips
to continue their technique with non-frictionless pips. As it absorbs
speed on both sides, this paddle is also well suited to block and
counter play, as well as for classic defence away from the table for
players who like paddles with more weight. The paddle is symmetric,
offering identical characteristics on both sides. The forehand of the
right-hander is the backhand of the left-hander in the 1st playing
position.
Compared to the original Taipan, This 'active' Taipan Delta (Tai-Delta) blade adds spin and speed to without diminishing the control. It is for players who prefer more speed and spin,
offering better pace in a more direct and fluent play. Players who
prefer disruption should take the classic Taipan. The paddle is
symmetric, offering identical characteristics
on both sides. The forehand of the right-hander is the backhand of the
left-hander in the 1st playing position.
